as there is enough inventiveness in each small area of our lives to be the subject of a painting, the image of it should not just exhibit as an idea, it should continue to interact with the observer. what matters is not just what we see, but it is the image enfolding within.

and so I dream of many things, each day aware of a wonderful world. the yearning of a possibility to wrap the invisible and portray it for eyes to see. whether the process of working or the completed painting is happiness, I still can not say.

so wie jeder bereich unseres lebens von guten einfällen geprägt wird, so ist das gemälde selbst nicht nur eine idee, nein, es sollte von der interaktion des zuschauers mit gestaltet werden. was zählt ist nicht das was wir sehen, es ist das sich enthüllende bild in uns.

träumend und wachend, spüre ich eine wundervolle welt und das verlangen einer möglichkeit, unsichtbares in sichtbares zu kleiden.

ob die arbeit daran oder das beendete bild glück bedeutet, kann ich nicht genau sagen, es mag mich beides beglücken.

I have been painting all my life, it being my heritage, living through art was never something that seemed like an impossible fate.

the lives we lead make up our art, the places we choose, the nights we wake, the world we see and moments we treasure, the friends that are ours and foes that we fight and it is by far not to say that any man finds equal inspirations in all the above, but of his own life' s adventures.

then there is a time to reflect, to become quiet, find the space and peace to appreciate life...when all one has experienced finds fulfilment.

for this one moment and by no means an everlasting one, gives the strength to create.
